Guiding athletes and performers toward a brighter path.

How will we ever know one's true talent if they burn out before their best years?

Excessive pressure, negative body image, comparison, self-doubt, perfectionism are just a few issues that athletes and performers may face which can steal joy, sap potential, and leave lasting negative impressions that take years to overcome. We meet each athlete right where they are, addressing issues head-on with mental training skills and practical applications. When an athlete feels empowered, prepared, and confident they perform at their best. The many positive benefits of sports and performance should not have an expiration date.

Kelly's role as a mental performance coach is to provide athletes and performers with the tools to navigate ongoing challenges in sport. She keeps it fun, engaging, educational, and applicable to various ages and abilities.

She has coached children, teens, and adults, individually and in groups, for over 17 years and has her Master Rating in Moves in the Field and Certified Rating in FS. Upon realizing many athletes in the skating world faced similar athlete struggles with confidence, motivation, goal setting, performance anxiety, identity outside of sport and more, she pursued and completed her Masters Degree in Sport and Performance Psychology. This mom of three is dedicated to helping athletes stay healthy and find longevity in sport.

Success stories

Kelly began working with my daughter after an injury that took her out of play for several months. Kelly was able to help my daughter manage her stress, set goals during recovery, and build her confidence. Now that my daughter has returned to play, I can see an increased level of focus and confidence. The tools Kelly has taught my daughter have allowed her to continue to play the sports she loves with passion and joy. — Leslie, mom to 14 year old athlete

Kelly has helped my daughter, a figure skater who has had a traumatic brain injury and has an autoimmune disorder, develop skills that are having an incredibly positive impact on and off the ice.

She uses effective strategies that resonate with my creative daughter. Kelly has taught my daughter how to process her emotions, set and develop plans to achieve goals, handle constructive feedback from coaches, and regulate emotions. These skills have resulted in an increase in confidence, belief in herself and the determination she had lost is growing inside of her again.

I am very thankful for the difference Kelly has made in my daughter's life and highly recommend her. - Cyndi, Mom to 10 year old skater

My daughter has benefited far more than I can say from Camp Ultraviolet. She grew greatly in her confidence and resilience following camp. She came home with a light inside her we hadn’t seen before. She is fierce and has a better understanding of her emotions and how to put words to her feelings and advocate for her own needs. Camp Ultraviolet would benefit all girls, but their focus on 7-12 year olds is especially critical. I am thankful for Camp Ultraviolet for providing a safe, fun place for my daughter to learn a foundation of skills and strategies that will help her now and throughout her life. The staff could not be more perfect and the curriculum is just amazing. — Lacey, mom to Ultraviolet camper (age 9)
